Artist - Recycled Assemblage, Painting, and Biological Illustration

 

Launi is one of the founding members and a Director of ReVision - the Art of Recycling Society.

 

She is a painter specializing in landscape plein air paintings, and a collector and scavenger of cedar floats, lobster buoys, rusty bolts, and miscellaneous wood and metal fragments for use in her recycled assemblage art.

 

She has over 19 years experience as an Editorial/Biological Illustrator at the University of British Columbia, specializing in insect illustration and cartography (GIS).
